You’ll get everything from electronic indie to rock, calypso to crooners and pop to dance – splashed throughout with emerging bands, songs that everyone really should know (or at least have heard!), new releases and, of course, the variety of the requests.

9pm-11pm . . . Welcome to The White Room where a diverse range of musical styles merge fluently for your listening pleasure. The Radio Wey Jukebox is in full swing bringing you a variety of music of classic hits and songs from the 1950s

Midnight - Big Band Hour

1am - Chit Chat

The magazine show everybody is talking about includes interviews with celebrities, politicians, and Brooklands and Cobham Bus museums. There is a special feature on the winners from the Glaxo Smith Kline Health Awards too. Radio Wey also brings you all the fun of the fair from this summer, including the Black Cherry Fair, Woking Hospice Classic Car Show, and the Chertsey and Egham Shows too.

2am – Radio Wey Variety Mix

Because we are a registered charity, unlike a commercial radio station, we have no set playlists. And with 40 years of broadcasting all kinds of requests for the patients and staff for Ashford, Weybridge and St Peter’s Hospitals behind us, we have a record library crammed with a variety of music. From Classical to Pop, from Military Band to Rock, it’s all showcased here on the Radio Wey Variety Mix.

3am – Comedy Cuts

If you can’t sleep and need cheering up, then this is your ideal tonic to take your mind off things. Many classic comedy sketches and clips from TV shows such as Porridge, One Foot In The Grave and Month Python feature in sixty minutes of non stop fun. Have a laugh on us, but don’t wake the neighbours!

4am – It’s Country

Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Billy Jo Spears are just a few of the names that you can listen to during a whole hour of country music.

5am – Easy Does It

Breaking you into the new day gently with a wide range of Easy Listening music, including many of the artists that regularly feature in our Artist Request Chart, a chart compiled every week based on the requests collected from the patients and staff of the hospitals we serve. So you are more than likely to hear Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey, Nat King Cole and Cliff Richard to name but a few, who have rarely been out of our Artist Request Chart since records began!

6am – A Decade of Hits

If you are in hospital or on your way to work in the car, you’ll love our show of non stop hits from a particular 10 year period. Today it’s a decade of hits from the 1970s
