Steve lasted on air through til 1995, just missing out on ten years service with the station, due to a move away from the area. He has made a few sporadic broadcasts as part of the SportsScene team since returning south a few years ago but is now looking forward to becoming a regular voice on the station once again, over twenty years since he first joined as a teenager, those were the days!
