Meet the team . . . .

Robert Chantler

Robert Chantler is a psychotherapist, author and playwright with a keen interest in voluntary work and very much a "people person". He enjoys classical music and jazz but also listens to a wide range of music from house to metal, chart oldies to showtunes.

Here's a little bit of me . . . .

Favourite

Track . . . Get This Party Started - Shirley Bassey

Favourite Artist . . . Hilary Hahn (violinist)

Favourite Hobby . . . Am Dram and St John Ambulance

Favourite Film . . . One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

Favourite Person . . . Don't know -- I like to try and see the good in everyone

He joined Radio Wey in October 2007 and currently presents "Sensuous Sounds" on Sunday afternoons from 2-5pm.  His craziest antics have probably been his one-man stand-up comedy routines at uni with various ostrich puppets but generally he's a mellow sort of person. His other voluntary work is predominantly with St John Ambulance, which he's been in since he was 12. The Mandarin lessons progress slowly and who knows-- maybe a broadcast in Mandarin at some point!
