Wey Too Early . . . Mandy Morrow - Take a few brain cells, get them to work out who the mystery person is, put a pinch of cheesy bubblegum pop in, a handful of outrageous stories, stir in a new artist or two, a large spoon of sarcasm, a look at the national papers, and mix it all together with the odd world music tune and what do you get? Mandy on Wey too early! In simple: My show includes, world music, a look at the national newspapers, some cheesy pop songs you’d forgotten you knew, an introduction to a brand new artist or little known artist, a whole load of fun stories and the odd guest!
Afternoon Delight: 12 noon - 3 pm -
Showbiz Siesta. 3pm-5pm . . . Jenny Shelford - Relax with Jenny playing gentle Music and Requests from the Hospital. Plus regular Up-dates on your Soaps, Famous Birthdates, a Radio Wey Presenter insight and loads of Fun & Chat!
Classical Concert 5pm . . . David Humber - David presents the very best in classical music plus Local groups who are putting on programmes in the near future. Anniversaries of premieres and celebrity births, which are linked to music and requests.
The Happy Hours from 7pm until 9pm are Radio Wey's welcome to the weekend! James Wright - Radio Wey's welcome to the weekend! James presents an upbeat mix of music and chat. With a look back at the week just gone, and at anything the Radio Wey team is getting up to over the weekend. Regular features include the Weekly Awards, the quirky quiz “Would You Rather”?, And the legendary Cheeseboard where we continue our quest to find the ultimate feel-good song (albeit one that you would normally never admit to liking). You're welcome to get in touch with the team about anything: we always have a topic of conversation that we'd love to hear from you about, and, of course, we are open for your requests, playing a full half hour of them back-to-back every week. Whatever you're getting up to over the weekend, make sure you start it with the Happy Hours with James Wright. Never knowingly glum!

11pm – Easy Does It
Radio Wey sets you up for a good nights rest with a wide range of Easy Listening music, which includes many of the artists that regularly feature in our Artist Request Chart, a chart compiled every week based on the requests collected from the patients and staff of the hospitals we serve. So you are more than likely to hear Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey, Nat King Cole and Cliff Richard to name but a few, who have rarely been out of our Artist Request Chart since records began!
Midnight - Big Band Hour
The show that has no pop, rock or disco music, it’s sixty minutes of the Magic of the Big Bands. Enjoy the likes of Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Woody Herman and all your other Big Band Favourites
1am - Chit Chat
The magazine show everybody is talking about includes interviews with celebrities, politicians, and Brooklands and Cobham Bus museums. There is a special feature on the winners from the Glaxo Smith Kline Health Awards too. Radio Wey also brings you all the fun of the fair from this summer, including the Black Cherry Fair, Woking Hospice Classic Car Show, and the Chertsey and Egham Shows too.
2am – Radio Wey Variety Mix
Because we are a registered charity, unlike a commercial radio station, we have no set playlists. And with 40 years of broadcasting all kinds of requests for the patients and staff for Ashford, Weybridge and St Peter’s Hospitals behind us, we have a record library crammed with a variety of music. From Classical to Pop, from Military Band to Rock, it’s all showcased here on the Radio Wey Variety Mix.
3am – Comedy Cuts
If you can’t sleep and need cheering up, then this is your ideal tonic to take your mind off things. Many classic comedy sketches and clips from TV shows such as Porridge, One Foot In The Grave and Month Python feature in sixty minutes of non stop fun. Have a laugh on us, but don’t wake the neighbours!
4am – It’s Country
Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and Billy Jo Spears are just a few of the names that you can listen to during a whole hour of country music.
5am – Easy Does It
More wonderfully relaxing music from the Easy Does It Team!
