He is a lifelong supporter of Staines Town, who he has followed since he was 8 or 9 years old, although he promises that he doesn’t let this bias him when he is working on the Sportscene programme! Indeed, he lists his most memorable Radio Wey moments as his live commentaries from Wembley Stadium when Woking FC won the FA Trophy 3 years out of 4, although admittedly that was some time ago now!
Back then he was presenting the weekly ‘Clive Live’ show, but these days it’s the rather more sensibly titled “Anything Goes” to be heard on Monday evenings that Clive produces together with Saturday Sportscene.
