Meet the team . . . .

Charli' Burden

Charli joined Radio Wey in 2006 and co-hosts the Happy Hour show on Fridays, as well as presenting the Soundtracks programme on Tuesday evenings and the Ash and Oak requests programme at noon on Sundays. At just 16 years old at her time of joining she is Radio Wey’s youngest ever member.

Here's a little bit of me . . . .

Favourite Track . . . Michael Buble: Home

Favourite Artist . . . Oh that varies all the time. At the moment I'm addicted to High School Musical songs!

Favourite Hobby . . . Drama. It's so much fun!

Favourite Film . . . Pirates of the Caribbean

Favourite Person . . . Johnny Depp. He's so cool!

In her spare time Charli enjoys horse-riding and drama - she is also a self proclaimed addict of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and has full size Johnny and Orlando figures in her bedroom – how many people can say that?! Her favourite kind of music is ‘anything cheesy’, although she reflects that most of her favourite bands have now broken up – a sure sign that she’s wise beyond her years.

Charli’s two most memorable Radio Wey moments were taking her first ever telephone request – “Dan on Juniper Ward – I’ll remember you forever!’- and doing a broadcast from the Twister fairground ride with James Wright at the Black Cherry Fair.
