Al Smith joined Radio Wey towards the end of 2008, appearing as an occasional co-host on the Chris and Marc Show before landing his on slot during the week. A radio enthusiast since 2005, Al has previously entertained audiences on the internet, and currently assists at Xfm in London.

Having lived in Surrey all his life, Al knows the area well, and enjoys spending time with his friends in Guildford. He’s also a frequent visitor to Thorpe Park, having once co-run a website on the theme park with a friend. One day he’d like to own Global Radio, but for now he’s happy broadcasting to the good people of St Peter’s Hospital.
